Chase is a German Shepherd Dog that is assigned to patrol operations. He is trained in searching, tracking, article searching, handler protection. Chase hails from the Czech Republic and was imported by Witmer Tyson Imports of Menlo Park, CA.  His partner and handler is Officer Jamie Rouland. Officer Ropuland has been with RPD since 2014 after transferring from the Chico Police Department.
