He is trained in searching, tracking, article searching, handler protection, narcotic detection, and tactical operations (SKIDDS). Chase hails from the Czech Republic and was imported by Witmer Tyson Imports of Menlo Park, CA.  His partner and handler is Officer Jamie Rouland. Officer Rouland has been with RPD since 2014 after transferring from the Chico Police Department.
